60th birthday concert

CLC started life 60 years ago, and we are rounding off a memorable season in the choir's history with a unique concert on Saturday 15th June. With all ages in mind, we have put together a programme of uplifting music that celebrates a love of the earth and all its inhabitants, and for the gift of singing.

We are thrilled to be joined by our brilliant friends baritone Roderick Williams, soprano Rachel Nicholls and pianist Iain Farrington - whose new cantata Then Sing We All celebrates the great joy of returning to singing after the pandemic. It's especially fitting for us to sing it in St Giles Cripplegate which welcomed us in and allowed us to have a temporary home in the immediate aftermath of lockdown.

Conductor Emeritus, Hilary Davan Wetton, joins us for the first piece before handing the baton on to his successor, Daniel Hyde.
