Thank you, Chairman

As the choir approaches the end of another full and busy season, Daniel Mansfield has just announced his retirement as Chairman of the City of London Choir. Dan joined the choir's committee within a few months of joining the choir, some thirty years ago, so his 'return to the backbenches' of the bass section will in fact be something of a novelty. On the choir's behalf, fellow trustee Chris Matthews presented presented him with an olive tree to thank him for so many years of service and to symbolise enduring friendship. We look forward to many more years of making music with you, Dan!
